AmaWaterways has launched its most significant promotional offer since entering the Australasian market, combining complimentary land packages with cruise savings across more than 300 select 2026 and 2027 departures in Europe and Colombia.
The River Sale is available for one week only, from 27 May through to 3 June, giving travel advisors a narrow but highly sellable window to convert clients who have been considering a European or South American river cruise. The offer stacks two benefits simultaneously: AmaWaterways’ Complimentary Land Package and cruise savings on select itineraries. The combination is notable because it allows clients to extend their journeys ashore without additional cost, strengthening the overall value proposition at the point of sale.
Steve Richards, Managing Director AU/NZ, described it as the strongest offer the line has brought to market since its regional launch two years ago. The promotion applies across all booking types, from individual travellers to groups, which broadens the opportunity for advisors working across multiple client segments. Featured itineraries within the sale include the Grand Rhine and Dutch Canals sailing aboard AmaStella in November 2026, the Gems of Southeast Europe voyage on AmaMagna in June 2027, the Paris and Normandy itinerary aboard AmaLyra in April 2027, and the Wonders of Colombia sailing on AmaMelodia departing December 2026.
Land packages included in the offer feature accommodation at four or five star hotels, daily breakfast, guided tours, local experiences, transfers between the hotel and ship, and the support of a dedicated Cruise Manager throughout.
