Complex Travel Group has announced the strategic launch of RoundAbout Travel NZ, establishing a dedicated Auckland-based team to service the local market.
While the Group has supported New Zealand clients remotely for several years, the move signals a stronger commitment to on-the-ground specialist expertise for Kiwi travellers, supported by Complex Travel Group’s Australian-based infrastructure.
RoundAbout Travel NZ will offer a comprehensive suite of services, specialising in Round the World (RTW) and Business Class airfares, alongside luxury tours, cruises, and hotels under one central brand.
“Opening RoundAbout Travel officially in New Zealand is the natural next step for Complex Travel Group,” said Mark Trim, Founder and Managing Director of Complex Travel Group. “We know that Kiwi travellers value high-touch service and specialised knowledge, and see a distinct demand for a ‘one-stop’ premium service. RoundAbout Travel NZ is designed to meet that need, backed by the significant resources of Complex Travel Group.”
The Auckland office will be led by Marc Alexander and Trudy Markham, who bring a combined decades-long track record within the travel sector. Alexander will predominantly focus on RTW and Business Class airfares while leading the new team, with Markham specialising in luxury travel including cruising and luxury hotels.
Alexander joins following tenure within a major global travel group, where he was consistently ranked among the Top 20 consultants and leaders nationally. He brings expertise in operational discipline and high-performance sales, with experience managing multiple award-winning branches and repeated international recognition.
Markham joins RoundAbout Travel NZ with extensive experience across both high-volume and luxury travel, and is described as a top-tier seller of premium airfares and bespoke itineraries. She has represented the region at international events including ILTM Singapore.

The Auckland office is now open, with additional hires slated throughout the year as Complex Travel Group continues to scale its specialised travel solutions and expand its Trans-Tasman network.
