The Magic Ahoy! App has been designed to boost knowledge and confidence so that New Zealand travel agents can gain a deeper understanding of Disney Cruise Line’s on board experience and the key Disney differences to share with future guests.
From August 26 2024 through November 18 2024, New Zealand travel agents can embark on a 10-day Virtual Voyage on the new Magic Ahoy app, designed to deliver an immersive and well-rounded Disney Cruise Line training experience. From the convenience of a mobile device, agents will gain invaluable insights and tips to improve their product knowledge. Five Disney Cruise Line ships are featured on the app including the Disney Wonder, the ship sailing in Australia and New Zealand during the upcoming 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 cruise seasons. Through each of the “days on board” agents will learn about a different part of the ship, starting with staterooms and moving on to Disney Cruise Line’s world-class onboard entertainment and dining experiences.
A state-of-the-art, travel tech, Magic Ahoy! app took 10,000 hours over 18 months to develop and the training can be completed at the agents’ own pace for convenience. The virtual voyage includes Augmented Reality experiences and visual guides that allow agents to explore Disney Cruise Line in a highly engaging and interactive way. Magic Ahoy! can now be downloaded via the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. Travel agents who sign up to the training app will earn Mickey Stamps for completed activities and modules, which will also provide them an opportunity to win incredible prizes including a Disney Cruise Line sailing during the 2024/2025 Australia and New Zealand season.
