Qantas unveils refurbished Adelaide Qantas Club

Qantas has reopened its Qantas Club at Adelaide Airport following a significant refurbishment, marking the latest milestone in the airline’s A$100 million global lounge upgrade program.

The revamped space now offers customers a full seasonal buffet menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, complemented by premium South Australian wines and beers. Travellers can also stay connected with USB-A and USB-C chargers, along with wireless charging mats strategically placed throughout the lounge.

This redevelopment in Adelaide is part of a broader transformation project, which includes a brand-new Domestic Business Lounge, set to open in mid-2025, alongside the complete refurbishment of the existing Qantas Club and Chairmans Lounge. While the overall lounge footprint remains unchanged, redesigned spaces will boost total seating capacity by over 10%. The upgraded lounges will highlight South Australian craftsmanship, featuring locally sourced furniture, lighting, and natural materials, with curated elements from JamFactory artisans and artworks created by local First Nations artists.

Frequent Flyer Update for Kiwis:
In related news, Qantas has enhanced its Frequent Flyer program for New Zealanders, allowing them to convert Everyday Rewards points into Qantas Points. This development comes with an added bonus for Kiwi members, who will receive 50% more Qantas Points compared to their Australian counterparts when converting these rewards. The initiative underscores Qantas’ commitment to providing more opportunities for New Zealand travellers to earn and enjoy loyalty benefits.
