Qatar Airways has announced the largest aircraft and engine order in its history, securing up to 210 Boeing widebody aircraft and more than 400 engines from GE Aerospace.
The landmark agreements mark a significant step in the airline’s long-term fleet renewal and global expansion strategy.
The order includes 160 firm aircraft and 50 options, making it the largest widebody aircraft order in Boeing’s history and the largest 787 Dreamliner commitment ever made. Qatar Airways currently operates over 150 Boeing aircraft and, with this order, is set to become the largest Dreamliner operator in the Middle East.

GE Aerospace Chairman and CEO H. Lawrence Culp Jr. said the agreement underscores Qatar Airways’ confidence in GE’s next-generation propulsion technology and its long-term service capabilities.
Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Officer Engr. These aircraft and engines will support our operational ambitions and enhance our global network,” he said.
