Aqua Expeditions has unveiled Circolo Aqua, a new loyalty programme designed to reward both guests and the travel trade, with the Trade Loyalty Programme rolling out first.
Tailored for individual advisors and partner companies (tour operators and DMCs), Circolo Aqua is tiered Bronze (Tier 0), Silver (Tier 1), Gold (Tier 2) and Platinum (Tier 3) and issues rewards as Miles redeemable against Aqua voyages and future bookings.
Founder & CEO Francesco Galli Zugaro said the initiative recognises “the individuals and companies who drive our growth,” adding that it mirrors Aqua’s attention to detail onboard.
How tiers will work:
- Individual advisors: tiering based on annual gross revenue.
- Partner companies: tiering based on annual net revenue.
- Key benefits for individual advisors (Bronze–Platinum)
- Aqua travel vouchers worth 5–10% of prior-year gross production (tier dependent), issued each January.
- Valid for two years; must be applied to a booking that reaches Reserved or Confirmed within that window.
Advisor must personally travel on the booking (voucher may cover other guests). Non-transferable, not combinable with promotions (e.g., Early Bird), maximum two vouchers per booking.
The Circolo Aqua program is fully integrated into Aqua’s enhanced Agent Portal, offering real-time tracking of Tier status and Miles earned, Booking value and progress toward next tier, Upcoming rewards and redemption windows, Bonus challenges and campaign incentives.
A points-based structure, where USD 1 (approx. AUD 1.5) = 1 Mile, ensures full transparency and ease of engagement.
