Wellness brand Chiva-Som is celebrating its 30th anniversary this April with a curated series of immersive experiences.
Since its inception in 1995, Chiva-Som hasbrought together influences from its Thai origins and its newest property, Zulal Wellness Resort by Chiva-Som in Qatar.
As part of its year-long celebrations, guests staying at Chiva-Som Hua Hin in April will enjoy a complimentary line-up of wellness-focused activities. Highlights include a special anniversary dinner, visiting wellness experts, cultural experiences, and a multi-sensory journey led by Thai artist and environmentalist Notep.
Culinary collaborations take centre stage
The anniversary celebrations culminate on Saturday 19 April with a one-night-only 30th Anniversary Dinner at the resort’s beachfront restaurant, Taste of Siam. The evening will see Executive Chef Sinchai of Chiva-Som Hua Hin join forces with Executive Chef Mayssam Abdulkhalek from Zulal Wellness Resort to present a cross-cultural menu. Guests can expect a refined fusion of Chiva-Som’s signature Thai and international cuisine with the Middle Eastern flavours of Zulal, underpinned by the principles of Traditional Arabic & Islamic Medicine (TAIM).

Earlier in the week, on 16 and 17 April, Chef Mayssam will also showcase a TAIM-inspired wellness menu at The Emerald Room, Chiva-Som Hua Hin’s fine-dining restaurant, featuring dishes such as wild mushroom soup, TAIM chickpeas garden, and pumpkin textures.
Zulal expertise and family wellness
Throughout April, in-house guests will have access to a complimentary online consultation with Zulal Wellness Resort’s Health & Wellness Advisor. These sessions offer personalised guidance on healthy living for all ages, encouraging families to adopt a holistic approach to wellness at home.

Breath, sound and ocean rhythms with Notep
From 22 to 25 April, renowned Thai artist and musician Notep will lead a unique wellness experience entitled Breath, Sound and the Sea. This immersive programme combines breathwork, sound healing, meditation, and creative workshops—blending the tranquillity of Chiva-Som with the elemental energy of the sea. Guests will be guided through a deeply personal and restorative journey that encourages mindfulness and connection with nature.
Expert-led wellness sessions
Enhancing the month-long programme, visiting wellness consultants Jill Banwell and Masa Sugiyama will be on-site to offer a series of complimentary sessions, including energy healing, meditation, and bodywork therapies, further enriching the guest experience.
