CLIA announces return of Cruise Month for October 2025

Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) has confirmed the return of its annual Cruise Month campaign this October, uniting its Australasian membership in a month-long celebration of cruising and the upcoming summer sailing season.

Running under the #LoveCruise banner, the 2025 campaign will feature themed weekly activations focused on key cruise sectors:

  • Ocean Cruising (5–11 October)
  • River Cruising (12–18 October)
  • Expedition Cruising (19–25 October)
  • Luxury Cruising (26 October – 1 November)

The initiative will be supported by a mix of digital advertising, social media content, consumer education, and promotional tools aimed at generating enthusiasm among travellers and directing them to CLIA-accredited travel agents.

“Cruise Month is designed to build momentum for the cruise season ahead,” said Joel Katz, CLIA Managing Director Australasia. “We’re encouraging all members to begin planning their own initiatives now whether that’s social media campaigns, client events, or in-store promotions to fully leverage the industry-wide spotlight.”

CLIA has released the first phase of its Cruise Month Toolkit, now available via the CLIA Members Hub. It includes a suite of digital marketing assets logos, banners, videos, posters, and customisable flyers to help member agents activate their own campaigns. Additional resources, including social media tiles and a how-to video guide, will be rolled out shortly.

A new CLIA webinar series is also scheduled throughout October, featuring cruise line partners presenting the latest product updates, promotional offers, and sales insights tailored to the Cruise Month campaign.

Details available through the CLIA Members Hub.
