Hong Kong Disneyland Resort will launch a year-long celebration from 28 June 2025, marking two decades of Disney magic in Asia.
The anniversary festivities, branded “The Most Magical Party of All,” offer travel agents a significant new selling point, with new entertainment, dining, retail experiences, and ticket promotions designed to drive visitation.
Key Highlights:
New Castle Show: “Disney Friends Live – Party at the Castle!”: A 15-minute concert-style show will debut at the Castle of Magical Dreams, featuring Mickey, Duffy and Friends, and select Disney Princesses in new anniversary outfits. The show will feature high-energy music, interactive elements, and large-scale scenic effects including LED screens and cold pyrotechnics.
New Parade: “Friendtastic!” – The largest parade in HKDL’s history, this 30-minute production will showcase 11 themed floats and more than 100 performers. New characters making their HKDL debut include Red Panda Mei from Turning Red, Isabela from Encanto, and Officer Clawhauser from Zootopia. The parade will include original music created for each float.
Nighttime Spectacular: “Momentous: Party in the Night Sky!” – An enhanced version of HKDL’s grandest nighttime show will span nearly 30 minutes with a full 360° experience, combining 3D projection mapping, drones, water effects, fireworks, and a new 20th anniversary signature logo revealed in the night sky.
Exclusive Food, Retail and Hotel Offers
New Dining Options – Over 80 new food and beverage items across the park and hotels have been created to complement the 20th anniversary celebrations.
20th Anniversary Merchandise – More than 300 limited-time products across six major collections will be released, offering guests themed apparel and gifts tailored for the celebrations.
Special Photo Experiences – Guests will be able to capture complimentary digital party photos through Disney PhotoPass, encouraging extended engagement and memory-making.
Hotel Packages – Guests staying at HKDL hotels can book 20th Anniversary Magical Party Room Packs, transforming rooms with party-themed décor and receiving special anniversary gifts.
The popular Double the Fun promotion has been extended until 31 July 2025, allowing Hong Kong residents two visits for the price of one. Magic Access memberships are available with a 20% discount when four or more cards are purchased before 30 June 2025. Disney Premier Access options tied to 20th anniversary offerings will be available from 26 May 2025, enabling faster access to rides and shows during the busy celebration period.
