AKL opened ground floor of the Transport Hub at the international terminal, which provides more space undercover. Here is some information to make your first experience as smooth as possible.
Drop-off and pick-up
The drop- off and pick- up area has relocated from the front of the international terminal to the inside of the Transport Hub. When driving towards the terminal simply follow the signs to the drop-off and pick-up zone. After your trip, if you are being picked up, please follow the signs from the international terminal to the Transport Hub
Taxi, rideshare and shuttle pick-up
If you’re hailing a taxi, rideshare or shuttle, please follow the signs and the undercover walkway to the new Transport Pick-Up Zone, located north of the Transport Hub and behind the Te Arikinui Pullman hotel. Please allow 5-7 minutes to walk from the international terminal to the Pick-Up Zone. You can also find a map here to show you where this is.
Carparking
Carparking at the international terminal remains unchanged, short-term undercover parking at Car Park D, longer-term parking at Car Park E (a 5-7minute walk) and Park & Ride North. Carparking in the upper floors of the new transport hub, which are still under construction, will open late 2024.
Auckland Airport Valet
Airport Valet is now conveniently located within the Transport Hub. Simply follow the signs on approach and enter the dedicated lane for the Auckland Airport Valet.
