Meyyafushi Maldives has completed its full opening, with all dining venues, facilities and signature experiences now operational across the island property.
The resort comprises 94 villas and suites, each with a private pool, split between beachfront and overwater positions. Interiors are designed to connect guests with the surrounding environment while maintaining a level of finish consistent with the upper end of the Maldives market.
Dining is a central part of the offer, with multiple venues covering Asian, Chinese and international cuisines. The recent opening of Raa, a dedicated overwater wine cellar adds a space for curated tastings and premium pairings to a culinary programme already spanning several distinct concepts led by an international culinary team.

Several of the resort’s signature experiences are positioned as market differentiators. The Bubble Underwater Restaurant offers a submerged dining setting beneath the Indian Ocean. The adults-only Sky Bar and Sunken Lounge features a glass-bottom infinity pool. The property also hosts what it describes as the world’s first fixed overwater padel tennis court, adding a sporting dimension to the activity programme alongside a broader excursion and watersports offering.
Service is delivered by a multilingual international team, with the property positioning personalised, intuitive hospitality as a core part of the guest experience alongside the physical product.
Meyyafushi sits in Raa Atoll and is accessible via domestic flight from Malé, placing it among the more remote island properties in the Maldives portfolio. Flight time from Malé is approximately 45 minutes, with seaplane transfers also available depending on arrival time and weather conditions
