United Airlines back with CHC-SFO service

United Airlines returns with 3X weekly service non-stop service from Christchurch to San Francisco

United Airlines have announced return of the 3X weekly Christchurch to San Francisco service from 6 December 2024

United Airlines is the only U.S. airline operating a direct service to the U.S. mainland from South Island of New Zealand. The service will operate on board the B787-8 Dreamliner. The United Dreamliner consists of 28 Polaris Business Class seats, 21 United Premium Plus seats, 36 Economy Plus and 158 United Economy seats giving travel agents the flexibility and choice to book their clients across a varied product on-board.

Onward Connections with United Airlines

If your clients are connecting on an onwards connection with United Airlines, they may be eligible for relaxing at the United Polaris Lounges or United Club at SFO. Polaris Lounges are a sanctuary for guests to relax and refresh before hopping on to their next flight.

The United App

Its also encouraged for travellers to download the United App and upload their travel bookings, ensuring ease of itinerary management and updates for gate changes, flight timings etc. Travellers are also able to change seat numbers through the United App one hour before departure.

Dubbed as one of the most romantic cities in the World, San Fran is now one flight away for South Islanders.
