Disneyland Resort is set to mark its 70th anniversary in spectacular fashion on July 17, 2025, unveiling a series of new attractions and experiences at Disneyland Park that pay tribute to its rich history while embracing the future.
Honouring Disney’s Musical Legacy
A new short film, “The Last Verse,” will debut at Main Street Cinema, celebrating the work of legendary Disney songwriters The Sherman Brothers. The three-and-a-half-minute film will highlight their iconic song “It’s a Small World”, while unveiling a brand-new verse. This new verse will also be incorporated into the “it’s a small world” attraction at Disneyland Park, making its debut on July 17.
A New Look at Disneyland’s Evolution
The Main Street Opera House will host an all-new gallery of rare Disney artifacts, images, and artwork, curated by Walt Disney Imagineering in collaboration with Walt Disney Archives and The Walt Disney Family Museum. Visitors will get a behind-the-scenes look at Disneyland’s early development as well as an exhibit showcasing the evolution of Audio-Animatronics technology over the decades.

Adding to the anniversary lineup, “Walt Disney – A Magical Life” will debut alongside the Main Street Opera House exhibits. The exit lobby will offer a glimpse into Disneyland’s future, previewing upcoming attractions and innovations that will continue to shape the park for generations to come.
